D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to promote business development and handle loan origination for our Financial Services Branch. You will manage relationships with customers and clients, educate applicants on financing options, and drive the loan process from application to funding.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to travel, and adherence to regulatory timelines, with duties spanning presentations, lead development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• General mortgage banking understanding (lock procedures, program analysis, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory timelines).

Aufgaben

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand and educate them on financing options.
• Be accessible to buyers and involved parties to answer questions and provide updates.
• Maintain reports and notes within origination software and CRM.
• Review new leads daily and contact them to earn business.
• Daily pipeline management from application to funding to ensure smooth process.
• Present loan products in sales meetings and builder communities.
