Job summary

Palms Las Vegas is hiring an Assistant Room Manager Buffet to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring top-tier guest service and brand standards.

Reporting to the Buffet Manager, you will plan floor coverage, supervise dining room service and cash handling, coordinate with chefs, and manage reservations and staff performance. This role requires high-volume supervisory experience and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• High volume restaurant management or supervisory experience is required.
• Two years of related experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and strong judgment abilities.
• Must obtain Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card and SNHD Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Set daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper station coverage.
• Supervise floor service and cash handling to ensure compliance with policies.
• Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations.
• Review schedules, manage time off, and coach staff on policies.
• Maintain inventory and assist with purchasing and cost controls.
