Job summary

Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking part-time Guest Experience Ambassadors. You will help deliver outstanding customer service, support arrival, parking, check-in, reservations, and tasting bar operations, and strive to turn every visitor into a loyal Buffalo Trace fan.

Flexible day/evening/weekend shifts, ability to lift 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and a friendly, can-do attitude are essential. Prior guest service or retail/tourism experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Part-time availability including nights and weekends (12-30 hrs/week).

Responsibilities

• Support the overall Visitor Experience with customer service and frustration-free operations.
• Strive to make every consumer contact an influential raving fan of Buffalo Trace Distillery and its bourbon.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all Buffalo Trace visitors with a focus on Visitor Arrival & Parking, Welcome Center & Visitor Check-In, Reservation Emails & Phone Calls, Visitor Transportation, Outside Greeter, and/or Tasting Bar Support.
• Encourage tour visitors to visit the gift shop, offering recommendations and helping visitors locate items.
• Partner with tour guides and gift shop associates to generate revenues and raving fans of Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Buffalo Trace Distillery is seeking part time Guest Experience Ambassadors that are flexible to work day, evening or weekend shifts. Successful Guest Experience Ambassadors will:

• Support the overall Visitor Experience at Buffalo Trace Distillery by focusing on customer service and frustration free operations.
• Strive to make every consumer contact an influential raving fan of the Buffalo Trace Distillery and Buffalo Trace bourbon!
• provide exceptional customer service to all Buffalo Trace visitors with a focus in Visitor Arrival & Parking, Welcome Center & Visitor Check-In, Reservation Emails & Phone Calls, Visitor Transportation, Outside Greeter, and/or Tasting Bar Support.
• Encourage tour visitors to visit the gift shop, making suggestions for purchases and helping visitors locate their desired items.
• Partner with tour guides and gift shop associates to generate revenues and raving fans of the Buffalo Trace Distillery and bourbon.

Qualifications/Requirements

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 21+ years of age
• Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.,
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time;
• Possess strong communication skills;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Ability and willingness to work part time, non-traditional hours (nights and weekends, 12-30 hrs. per week).

PREFERRED

• Customer service/retail and/or tourism experience preferred.
