Job summary

Buffalo Trace Distillery is seeking part-time Tour Guides to lead day, evening or weekend tours at our Kentucky site. You will provide accurate, engaging tours, deliver exceptional customer service, and encourage visitors to explore the gift shop and related products.

Successful guides will collaborate with fellow tour guides and gift shop staff to create memorable experiences and drive revenue while representing the Buffalo Trace brand during non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age required.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Willingness to work part time, evenings and weekends (12–20 hrs/week).

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate, informative and fun tours.
• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors.
• Encourage tour visitors to visit the gift shop and make purchases.
• Partner with other tour guides and gift shop associates to generate revenues.
• Support overall visitor experience and Buffalo Trace brand engagement.

Buffalo Trace Distillery is seeking Part Time Tour Guides, flexible to work day, evening or weekend shifts. Successful Tour Guide will:

• Strive to make every consumer contact an influential raving fan of the Buffalo Trace Distillery and Buffalo Trace bourbon!
• Lead accurate, informative and fun tours.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all Buffalo Trace visitors.
• Encourage tour visitors to visit the gift shop, make suggestions for purchases and help visitors to locate their desired items.
• Partner with other tour guides and gift shop associates to generate revenues and raving fans of the Buffalo Trace Distillery and bourbon.

Qualifications/Requirements

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 21+ years of age
• Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.,
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time;
• Possess strong communication skills;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Ability and willingness to work part time, non-traditional hours (nights and weekends, 12-20 hrs. per week).

PREFERRED

• Customer service/retail and/or tourism experience preferred.
