Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina seeks a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming, removal and related duties. You will operate and service hand and power tools, load and unload equipment, and follow safety protocols on job sites.

The role is full-time, non-exempt and hourly pay with opportunities for training and advancement. Valid driver’s license preferred; no fear of heights and ability to work outdoors in all weather required.

Qualifications

• Must have the physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at various heights.
• Strong hand-eye coordination for precise tool handling.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at job sites.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as assigned.
