Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Burlington, NC seeks a Trimmer/Climber. This is a full-time, non-exempt role offering hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. You will trim and remove trees, operate tools, load/unload trucks, and assist in training new employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Ability to walk, climb and work from ladders on uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights and safe operation of equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination is essential.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans up debris and loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers and flags to protect workers and the public.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping at work sites.
