Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service tools, load/unload trucks, and help keep job sites safe and orderly.

Entry-level applicants are welcome. You must be 18+, able to work overhead, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. A driver’s license is preferred. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
