Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in North Carolina. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and servicing equipment, and loading debris for transport. Safe operation and teamwork are essential as you interact with customers and traffic control.

Candidates should be able to work at height, pass pre-employment checks, and be committed to safety. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Maintains proper working conditions of tools and equipment.
