Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Advance, NC for full-time, non-exempt work. The role involves trimming/removing trees, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring safety on busy job sites.

Entry-level applicants are welcome, with high school diploma preferred. The ideal candidate can work at heights, handle physical tasks, and cooperate with customers and public safety personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
• No previous forestry experience required; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
