Hankyu Hanshin Express USA Inc. – New York Branch seeks an Import/Brokerage Manager to oversee brokerage/import operations, ensuring compliance with US government regulations and efficient workflows.

The role leads a team, coordinates with VP, and drives process improvements in a busy brokerage unit. The position requires a two-year college degree (or equivalent) with 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent with 1–2 years of brokerage/import experience.
• Office software proficiency (Windows, MS Office) and basic HR/ payroll tools.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate customs clearance activities in brokerage/import department.
• Ensure policies and procedures are consistently administered.
• Hire and train staff as needed; maintain SOPs for clients and processes.
• Ensure personnel are trained to maintain a compliant environment.
• Serve as SME when communicating with customers in various settings.
• Manage Customs Coordinators and collaborate with VP for productivity improvements.
• Ensure import transactions meet US Customs and other agency requirements.
• Oversee Time Cards and vacations for RLF Entry Writers in ADP.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and timely billing and shipments.
