Job summary

Eagle County Government seeks a Broker Associate I or II to join the Valley Home Store team, helping families find their homes and supporting affordable housing goals across Eagle County.

As a broker, you will build relationships, master county housing programs, and drive opportunities for homeownership and rental assistance, with progression from Broker I to Broker II tied to experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible experience in administration, real estate, customer service, hospitality or related fields.
• Experience in residential real estate is preferred.
• Licensed as a Realtor through the Colorado Real Estate Commission or ability to obtain within the first six months.
• Member of the Vail Board of Realtors and the National Board of Realtors, or the ability to join organizations shortly after employment.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships: Connect with clients on a deep level, understanding their unique needs and aspirations.
• Master the Eagle County Housing Programs: Become a local housing expert understanding the County’s deed-restricted programs, the Valley Home Store programs, down payment assistance, and housing programs. Champion affordable housing: Drive initiatives that create opportunities for homeownership and rental assistance.
• Be a problem-solver: Find creative solutions to housing challenges, from overcoming financial hurdles to streamlining processes.
• Collaborate with a purpose: Work alongside a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact.
