Job summary

Skyline Communications is seeking a Business Development Director for Broadcast in the United States and Canada. You will hunt for new opportunities, cultivate executive relationships, and drive growth across media, telecom, satellite, and proAV sectors using DataMiner.

You will lead sales in the Broadcast market, leverage existing networks, attend industry events, and collaborate with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering, and Platform Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles and a network in the Broadcast industry.
• Based in USA or Canada and willing to travel up to 40%.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify collaboration opportunities with end customers and partners and drive innovation.
• Generate new sales in the Broadcast industry via existing networks and partners.
• Identify opportunities for DataMiner products in Broadcast markets.
• Generate leads through cold calling and networking at trade shows.
• Leverage digital and AI-based techniques to generate interest and leads.
• Develop strong customer relationships and understand their needs.
• Report on accounts and transactions using CRM to manage interactions and sales funnel.
• Set and track sales targets aligned with company OKRs & KPIs.
• Keep up with the latest industry developments and competitors' positions.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering & Consultancy, Platform Operations & Quality.
• Work with Sales Account Managers and Directors to convert the funnel into signed customers.
