Mediacom Communications is seeking a Broadband Specialist I (Field Technician) to perform new installations of cable television and broadband services. You will drive a company vehicle, visit customer homes, and represent Mediacom with professionalism while delivering service excellence.

The role requires manual installation tasks, ability to work in tight spaces, valid driver’s license, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer drop installations (exterior and interior) from tap to antenna terminals.
• Carry out new connects, reconnects, and downgrades of service; install and remove converters.
• Read signal levels using field strength meter; adjust levels as needed to ensure service quality.
