Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. seeks a Bridge Project Manager to lead complex bridge projects from planning through construction documents in Nashville and surrounding markets.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining high quality. The role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and hands-on use of OpenBridge, AASHTOWare, and MathCAD to support design and load rating workflows.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited civil/structural engineering degree.
• PE license in TN or eligible within six months of hire.
• Four+ years of bridge design/analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge projects from planning through final construction documents.
• Confirm scope, requirements, and deliverables with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop proposal letters, staffing plans, and budgets translating into realistic man‑hour estimates.
• Plan and facilitate kick‑offs and coordination meetings, communicating scope, budget, and schedule.
• Monitor performance against scope, schedule, and budget; identify risks and address them.
• Coordinate resource planning tools and support accurate monthly revenue forecasting.
