Job summary

Benesch is seeking a seasoned Structural Project Manager in Tennessee to lead the design and delivery of bridge and structural projects. You will mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Hybrid work from Franklin or Nashville; 10+ years bridge design experience, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and Tennessee PE licensure are preferred. TDOT experience and Bentley CAD proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bridge design experience with 12+ years preferred.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PE License in Tennessee, or ability to obtain licensure via reciprocity.
• Experience with TDOT and local municipalities.
• Strong technical expertise in bridge design and structural analysis.
• Experience developing scopes of work, fee proposals, and contracts.
• Proficiency with Bentley CAD and structural design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of bridge and structural projects with clients and engineers.
• Mentor structural designers and engineers, providing technical direction.
• Coordinate plans, cost estimates, specifications, and pay items per TDOT standards.
• Develop scopes of work, fee proposals, and project strategies.
• Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables, and quality to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve design challenges.
