Job summary

SSR is seeking a Bridge Project Manager to lead complex bridge design and construction projects for DOTs, municipalities, and private clients. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communications from planning through construction documents.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural PE, TN licensure or equivalent experience, and 6+ years of bridge engineering; proficiency with OpenBridge, AASHTOWare, and MathCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree with four years of relevant experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in TN or equivalent experience within six months, or ten years of project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge projects from planning through construction documents, coordinating internal teams and clients.
• Define scope, requirements and deliverables with stakeholders and manage budgets and schedules.
• Develop staffing plans and discipline work plans with realistic man-hour estimates.
• Plan and run project kickoff and coordination meetings, communicating scope, budget and timelines.
• Monitor performance against scope, schedule and budget, addressing risks to quality and cost.
• Support technical development of bridge designs and load ratings using industry software.
