Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Project Manager with proven bridge inspection experience to lead the Central States Office. You will manage projects end-to-end, mentor staff, and coordinate with cross-discipline teams to deliver on-time, on-budget results for statewide bridge inspection programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 8 years of related work, plus strong candidate-oriented skills in client liaison, risk management, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.
• Professional certifications: PE, AICP, PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project scope and fee quotation and assist with technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Lead the development and execution of the project management plan; oversee staffing and performance reviews.
• Perform field inspections of complex bridges in accordance with NBIS and federal standards.
• Mentor junior staff and monitor quality and budget on all tasks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred)
