Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Engineering in Texas to lead statewide bridge inspection projects with TxDOT, and to support growth of bridge inspection services nationally.

The role focuses on developing scope, budgets, and technical deliverables, while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet schedule and budget expectations. Strong leadership, client relations, and 4for4 project delivery experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of successful management of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation and assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budget to completion.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Implement the firm’s project delivery plan using SDA on each project and lead development and execution of the project management plan.
• Oversee project staffing, including recruitment, development, retention and succession planning.
• Support business development with client services leaders to pursue mega and super mega projects and prepare proposal materials.
