Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspection Team Leader and Senior Structural Engineer to join the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, with offices in Boston, Worcester, Glastonbury, CT, and Providence, RI.

This role combines field leadership with advanced structural engineering tasks, offering opportunities to lead inspections, mentor junior staff, and contribute to CTDOT programs across Connecticut and beyond.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in bridge, tunnel or ancillary inspection or design.
PE license required.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Lead bridge and infrastructure inspections as part of the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team.
Serve as Team Leader on bridge, tunnel and ancillary inspections.
Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
Assist in developing plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects.
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
Support cost proposals and project documentation.
