WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, Senior Structural Engineer to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, with offices in Boston, Worcester, Glastonbury, and Providence. This role offers a path toward leadership and exposure to diverse inspection projects across transportation structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in bridge, tunnel or ancillary inspection or related work.
• Engineer in Training Certification (PE preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes.
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on a variety of inspection projects.
• Lead Bridge, Tunnel & Ancillary Inspections as Team Leader.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Assist in development of Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings.
• Assist with plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution.
• Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers.
• Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
