Job summary

WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, Senior Structural Engineer to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, with offices in Boston, Worcester, and surrounding areas. The role offers growth into team leadership and a diverse mix of field and office work.

You will lead inspection projects, perform structural assessments, contribute to load ratings, and develop drawings in AutoCAD while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural/civil engineering with relevant bridge/tunnel/inspection background.
• 7–10 years of experience in inspection or design of infrastructure.
• Engineer in Training (PE preferred) or active licensure.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on a variety of projects.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Assist in development of plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
• Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
• Support cost proposals and project documentation.
