Job summary
WSP is seeking a Structural Engineer - Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New Jersey. The role combines field inspections with office design work, and offers guidance to junior engineers in a collaborative environment at multiple NJ offices including Newark, Lawrenceville, and Morristown.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
- NCBI certification through FHWA training is required.
- NHI 130055 Safety Inspection course and NHI 130053 Refresher may be required.
- New Jersey PE license or ability to obtain it promptly.
- Proven knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on various inspection projects.
- Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
- Assist in development of plans using MicroStation, Visio, and AutoCAD.
- Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
- Support field and office project tasks and cost proposals.
