Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0 to 1 year of bridge/ancillary structure inspection experience.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and their application to projects.
• Willingness to perform field work including at heights and in adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a range of bridge and infrastructure inspection projects.
• Serve as Assistant Team Leader for bridge and sign structure inspections.
• Perform structural engineering tasks and field inspections.
• Support preparation of bridge load ratings.
• Develop plans and sketches using Visio and MicroStation.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Assist with project research, field work, preliminary repair calculations, and structural analysis.
• Help prepare cost proposals and scope-of-work documents.
• Collect, organize, and maintain project documentation.
