Job summary

WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection, Structural Engineer to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, including offices in Boston, Worcester, Glastonbury, and Providence.

The position involves a 50/50 split between field work and office work, performing inspections on bridges, tunnels, and related structures, developing plans in AutoCAD, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while advancing your structural and transportation engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in bridge, tunnel or ancillary inspection or design.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engineering audiences.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on inspection projects.
• Assist in development of plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
• Support field work, project research, and preliminary design calculations.
• Prepare cost proposals and scope of work documents.
• Maintain project documentation and adhere to safety policies.
