Job summary

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm with six offices, seeking a Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead bridge design and related transportation projects.

You will guide a team of engineers, manage scope and budgets, and coordinate with clients and authorities. The role supports CDI’s mission of building stronger communities and offers ESOP participation and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a project with team collaboration and client needs.
• Proficient with MicroStation and ORD platforms.
• Project Management experience with DOT clients.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of bridge construction materials and methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects with scope and budgets.
• Signing/sealing work as required.
• Analyze/design transportation structures including bridges and culverts.
• Serve as main contact with clients, contractors, officials.
• Collaborate with CDI leadership and staff to develop solutions.
• Prepare engineering project proposals.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
