Civil Design Inc. is seeking a Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead bridge design efforts across CDI's Structures/Bridge Group, while coordinating with transportation and site development teams. The role emphasizes client communication, project leadership, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering; PE preferred.
• PE license and Illinois structural licensure are highly valued.
• Minimum 10 years bridge design experience; DOT project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects: scope, budgets, design coordination.
• Sign and seal work as required.
• Analyze and design bridges, culverts, and related structures for transportation.
• Serve as main client, contractor, and official liaison.
• Prepare engineering proposals and collaborate with teams.
• Ensure adherence to CDI safety procedures.
