Job summary

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is seeking a Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead structural projects and manage design teams. You will guide transportation-related bridge work, coordinate with clients and officials, and ensure quality and safety in every phase.

The role requires a Master’s degree, PE licensure, and substantial bridge design experience, with flexibility to operate from multiple CDI offices and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Lead structural engineering projects with scope, budgets, and client coordination.
• Sign/seal work as required.
• Design transportation structures including bridges and culverts.
• Collaborate with CDI teams to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Managing structural engineering projects by creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members.
• Signing/sealing work as required.
• Analyzing and designing transportation-related structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations.
• Serving as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials.
• Displaying an eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types.
• Assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Working collaboratively with the CDI Structural Service Leadership, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with CDI’s safety procedures.
