Job summary

Civil Design, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead the Structures/Bridge Group on diverse transportation projects. You will guide design teams, manage scope and budgets, and liaise with clients and officials to deliver safe, durable bridges.

The role offers flex scheduling, ESOP participation, and opportunities to impact communities across multiple states while growing as a leader in bridge design and construction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering is preferred.
• PE licensure is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience leading structural/bridge design projects with DOT clients.
• Strong knowledge of bridge materials and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budgets, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects: define scope, budgets, design coordination.
• Sign/seal work as required.
• Analyze and design transportation structures including bridges and culverts.
• Act as key client contact with contractors and officials.
• Prepare engineering project proposals.
• Collaborate with Structures/Bridge Group leadership and engineers to develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
