Job summary

David's Bridal is seeking a Seamstress Tailor Sewing Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will welcome customers in person, by phone, and online, guide gown adjustments, and coordinate with stylists to ensure perfect fits for special occasions.

In addition to sewing, steaming, pressing, and quality checks, you will maintain a pristine alterations room and uphold the Dress Code Policy while delivering five-star service and building

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion production environment preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with gown fittings and alterations.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and ensure quality control.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by discussing gown fit and customization.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap and uphold store standards.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
