Job summary

David’s Bridal is hiring an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to report to the Store Manager. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and work with stylists to ensure gowns fit perfectly for weddings and events.

You will greet customers, manage alterations, sewing, steaming and pressing, maintain the alterations room, and ensure each garment meets quality checks before delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is required, preferably bridal/special occasion.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm and provide five-star service.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming and pressing to company standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain an orderly alterations room and ensure all garments are checked for quality.
• Explain alteration services and personalization options to customers.
• Resolve customer issues in line with company guidelines and policies.
