David's Bridal is seeking a part-time Seamstress Tailor Sewing Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will assist customers, stylists, and the alterations team with sewing, steaming, and finishing garments while maintaining room cleanliness and brand standards.

Prior sewing and retail experience are preferred. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate POS use, and adherence to dress codes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or online and tailor communication to the customer.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Maintain store standards, assist stylists with fittings, and ensure quality control of altered garments.
• Assist with alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning per company standards.
• Support cash wrap processes and process transactions accurately.
• Keep alterations room clean and organized and respond to customer questions with product information.
• Build long-term relationships to meet customer satisfaction and loyalty.
