Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will greet customers, consult on gown fit, and coordinate with stylists to close sales.

The role requires sewing experience, a high school diploma, and 1-2 years retail experience; you will manage alterations, ensure quality, and maintain a clean, organized room while delivering five-star service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion experience preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels and meet customer needs, following operational checklists.
• Assist alterations team and ensure garments meet company standards.
• Inspect altered garments to verify pristine condition before delivery to customer.
• Support cash wrap and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain alterations room clean and organized.
