Job summary

David's Bridal in Greenwood, IN is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering superior customer service. You will work with store leadership to solve problems, assist stylists with gown customization, and ensure every alteration enhances the customer’s event experience.

The role requires sewing experience, attention to detail, and maintaining a clean, organized alterations area. A high school diploma and retail exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide five-star service.
• Assist customers with gown alterations and fittings.
• Ensure alterations meet David’s Bridal quality standards.
• Operate POS and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain alterations room and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with stylists to close sales.
• Inspect garments after alterations for quality.
• Respond to customer questions with product information.
