Job summary

David’s Bridal is hiring an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will greet customers, manage the alterations flow, and assist stylists with gown fit and customization. Maintain the alterations room and ensure garment quality, while delivering five-star customer service.

The role requires sewing experience and a high school diploma, with 1–2 years of retail background. This is a part-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Prior sewing experience is required, bridal/special occasions a plus.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, on the phone, and virtually.
• Manage alterations flow and communicate dress fitting options.
• Assist stylists to close sales through gown fit and customization advice.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure quality control of altered garments.
• Provide exceptional service and resolve customer questions promptly.
• Support cash wrap and process transactions accurately.
