Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards within the store environment. You will greet customers, advise on gown fit, and support stylists to close sales while maintaining brand standards.

This role requires sewing experience, a high school diploma, and 1-2 years in a retail setting. Expect hands-on alteration tasks, customer-focused service, and a team-driven atmosphere in a busy store.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via virtual chats.
Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
Maintain service levels and support all alterations, fittings, and sewing tasks to company standards.
Assist stylists by advising on gown fit and customization and close sales where appropriate.
Keep the alterations room clean, organized, and compliant with dress code policies.
Respond to customer questions with product and service information and build long-term relationships.
