Job summary

David's Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will greet customers, explain alteration options, and coordinate with stylists to ensure a perfect dress for every event.

In this role you will manage multiple fittings, maintain the alterations room, and uphold the store's Five-Star Service standard. Prior sewing experience and a high school diploma are required, with 1–2 years in retail preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal and/or special occasions.
• Prior experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm and communicate clearly.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by discussing gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and inspect garments for quality before delivery.
• Respond promptly to customer questions and uphold store standards.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
