David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will greet customers, explain alteration options, and support stylists in closing sales while maintaining the dressing room and service levels.

Responsibilities include managing alterations, inspecting garments, and delivering five-star customer service. The role requires sewing experience and strong communication in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail apparel experience preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in person, by phone, and online.
• Manage alterations flow and coordinate with stylists to ensure proper fit.
• Inspect garments after alterations and ensure quality before delivery.
• Explain alteration services and personalize options to customers.
• Maintain store standards and assist with checkout processes as needed.
• Assist with inventory and special orders pickup; uphold dress code.
• Resolve customer questions promptly and build long-term relationships.
