David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and support the store team in delivering a five-star customer experience.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, guiding gowns through alterations, maintaining a clean alterations room, and ensuring garment quality before delivery while adhering to dress code policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple customers.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Sewing skills and alteration knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming and finishing of garments to company standards.
• Maintain alterations room cleanliness and organization; ensure quality before delivery.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and in line with company guidelines.
