Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to support the Store Manager. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and drive five-star customer experience while handling multiple customers and garments.

Responsibilities include promoting alteration services, assisting stylists with gown fit, maintaining the alterations room, managing sewing, steaming and finishing of garments, and ensuring quality control before delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• POS system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone or virtually.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming and responsive to needs.
• Assist multiple customers with alterations, fittings and garment care to ensure quality.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options to support sales.
• Assist stylists with gown fit and customization to close sales.
