Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and supporting the store team.

You will work with stylists, assist with gown fit, manage the alterations room, and ensure all garments are finished to pristine condition before delivery; prior sewing experience and basic POS familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Sewing experience; bridal and/or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone or online and resolve issues.
• Guide customers through gown alterations and customization decisions with clear communication.
• Prepare and organize the alterations room and ensure garments meet quality standards.
• Maintain store standards and assist with sales as needed.
• Provide five-star customer service and support store management with operational tasks.
