Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist who will complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering superior customer service. You will work with stylists to ensure gowns fit perfectly and provide expert alteration services, including sewing, steaming, and finishing garments.

The role requires the ability to manage multiple customers, maintain the alterations room, and uphold dress code and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal and/or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Use systems to manage customer flow to deliver five-star service.
• Maintain service levels with prepared, welcoming, and responsive assistance.
• Assist alterations customers with gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room clean and organized and ensure garment quality before delivery.
• Support cash wrap and process transactions accurately.
• Build long-term relationships to meet customer satisfaction and loyalty.
