Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to provide friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise while delivering superior customer service. You will work with stylists to advise on gown fit and customization, promote alteration services, and maintain an organized alterations room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion a plus.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, on the phone, or via chat.
• Assist with alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and pressing to David’s Bridal standards.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options to customers.
• Support stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain the alterations room and ensure cleanliness and organization.
