Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You will be part of the store team, exemplifying the David’s Bridal brand and helping customers find the perfect dress or fit for their event.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing alteration tasks, assisting stylists with gown fit, and maintaining the alterations room and dress code compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS becomes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via chat while problem solving and maintaining clear communication.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Perform alterations, sewing, steaming, and finishing of garments to high standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales through gown fit and customization consultations.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized alterations room and comply with dress code policies.
