Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to support store management. You will welcome customers across in-person, phone, and virtual channels, solve issues, and promote alteration services and personalization options.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stylists on gown fit, maintaining an organized alterations area, and ensuring quality checks before delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or virtually and adapt communication to solve problems.
• Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, and Meeting customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support Five-Star service goals.
• Address customer concerns promptly and know when to involve leadership.
• Explain alterations options and promote services and personalization.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by discussing gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance for a flawless shopping experience.
• Escort alterations customers to appointments and ensure quality verification before delivery.
