Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and support customer needs in person, over the phone, and via virtual channels.

Responsibilities include assisting stylists with gown fit, maintaining the alterations room, and ensuring every garment meets David’s Bridal quality before delivery. Expertise in sewing and bridal alterations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in an apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, bridal and/or special occasion production preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide five-star customer service.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alteration room and ensure garments are inspected prior to delivery.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming and pressing to company standards.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly per company guidelines.
