Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will support a five-star customer experience, assist stylists with gown fit, and maintain the alterations room and store standards.

Prior sewing experience and retail familiarity are preferred, with a focus on bridal and special occasion projects. Candidates should be ready to work in a fast-paced store environment, handle multiple customers, and adhere to dress code and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in an apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal and/or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain all service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for all our customers.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to Five-Star Customer Service.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to leadership as needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress and promote alteration services and personalization options.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance.
• Escort alterations customers to appointments and ensure pristine condition of garments.
