David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and assist store management. You will greet customers, discuss gown fit, and promote alterations services while delivering five-star service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal and/or special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone or via chat.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star customer experience using store systems.
• Maintain service levels, prepare, welcome, meet needs and be there for customers.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store goals.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and partner with leadership when needed.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options in fitting/style discussions.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by discussing gown fit and customization.
• Keep alterations area clean and organized, inspect garments for pristine condition.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap and support policies.
• Build long-term relationships to meet loyalty objectives.
