David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, delivering five‑star customer service. The role involves sewing, steaming, pressing, and coordinating with stylists to ensure the perfect gown fit.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing alterations flow, and maintaining the alteration room and pricing. Prior sewing and POS experience are valued in a fast-paced bridal environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with genuine enthusiasm in-store, over the phone, and online.
• Assist with alterations, fittings and garment processing to brand standards.
• Provide exceptional service and upsell alteration services and customization.
• Maintain the alterations room, inventory and pricing according to company guidelines.
• Support cash wrap activities and ensure accurate transactions.
