David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver high-quality fittings and alterations with a focus on five-star customer service. You will support stylists in closing sales and ensure garments meet the brand's standards.

The role requires sewing experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple customers while maintaining store standards and a welcoming atmosphere. You will work in the alterations area to keep garments pristine for event-ready gowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or virtually.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain store standards and dress code; assist stylists in closing sales.
• Inspect garments after alterations to ensure pristine condition before delivery to customer.
• Address customer concerns promptly and resolve issues per company guidelines.
• Keep alterations room clean, organized, and stocked for efficient service.
