Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the highest standards. You will deliver exceptional service in person, by phone, and via virtual chats, working with stylists to advise on gown fit and customization.

The role requires sewing/alteration skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to five-star customer experiences in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty stores preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion environment is a plus.
• Experience with a computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via chat.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain alterations room, perform fittings, sewing, steaming and finishing to high standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the alterations area and adherence to dress code.
